The School-To-Work program at Eldred gives students at all grade levels (7-12) an opportunity to develop valuable personal,
social and job related skills that are relevant in school and in society at large.
Throughout the year, students are afforded opportunities to participate in school and community based service projects
through volunteering and active participation in the planning, design, implementation and promotion of events during and after
school.
School-To-Work involves all students across the curriculum with activities in all core subject areas, as well as; art,
music, keyboarding, computer graphics, home and careers and physical education.
School-To-Work projects include the Sullivan Renaissance Beautification effort, the ECS/Mackenzie Elementary School community
Walk the Walk, and the Annual Career Day.
Last years walk drew over 350 walkers of all ages, and the ECS Career Day attracted over 50 different professional businesses
and organizations.
